Since the winter semester 2013/14, the project lernort@math.LMU (Place of learning@math.LMU) as been regularly implementing a didactic concept that clearly integrates school practice into the course of study by alternating between the university and school on a weekly basis: In cooperation with a Munich school, didactic concepts known from the courses can be tested with students and then reflected upon together from a university perspective.
Over the course of a semester, learning environments for various mathematical contents are developed, tested and optimized in seminars by different groups of students at two-week intervals. In the following week, these learning environments will be implemented at the learning location school with a school class. The students take on the role of both teachers and learning observers. Student solutions, mistakes and comments can be jointly reflected upon and used for further planning and later teaching.
